Volunteer recruitment evening

Imagine if ‘the office’ was a brand new, state-of-the-art centre which trained beautiful, wet-nosed, hairy life-savers…

Well at Medical Detection Dogs that’s exactly what work looks like and we’re recruiting volunteers!

The charity trains dogs to smell human disease. It is at the forefront of the research into the fight against diseases like cancer and Parkinson’s. And it trains dogs to give people with conditions like Diabetes and PoTs their lives back by warning them when they are about to have a potentially fatal episode.

Come along to our first recruitment event in Essex on Wednesday 28 August between 5pm-7pm to find out more about the charity and the exciting new vacancies we have. Find out what it’s like to volunteer at Medical Detection Dogs.

We’re at Elmstead Community Centre, School Road, Elmstead Market, Colchester, Essex CO7 7ET

We are expanding and have exciting new vacancies for a variety of volunteer roles across the charity, including:

  • Puppy socialisers
  • Speakers
  • Fundraisers
  • Administrative Support

If you are unable to attend but are interested in volunteering with us, please indicate which area of work you would be interested in to claire.baker@medicaldetectiondogs.org.uk
