Supporting the vital work of Medical Detection Dogs through our grants has been a true privilege for The Hospital Saturday Fund. Most recently, we awarded a £10,000 grant to support the work of Community Medical Detection Dogs in detecting urinary tract infections (UTIs) in elderly, vulnerable, and neurologically compromised individuals.

Medical Detection Dogs provide an invaluable service through their extraordinary sense of smell—detecting a range of conditions from Addison’s disease to sudden episodes of illness. Their work continues to make a remarkable difference in people’s lives.
