Your support today helps train tomorrow's life-saving dogs

Imagine being part of a puppy’s journey to becoming a life-saving medical detection dog.  By sponsoring a puppy, you’re not just supporting a puppy, you’re helping transform lives.

Your sponsorship helps cover the costs of training, veterinary care and socialisation, giving each puppy the best start on their path to becoming a hero. In return, you’ll receive regular updates, adorable photos, and stories about your sponsored puppy’s progress.

By sponsoring a puppy, you're not just giving a dog a future—you're giving someone hope.

Join us in making a difference—one paw at a time.

For as little as £5 a month you can help us train lots more life-saving dogs.

The welfare of our dogs is of paramount importance to us; whilst they are training and working, but also when they are retired or withdrawn.  Dogs that are ending their career with Medical Detection Dogs make wonderful pets, and we take care to ensure their individual needs are met when finding them a new home. Urinary Tract Infection

A UK project is training dogs to detect UTIs by scent, offering faster, non-invasive diagnosis—especially beneficial for elderly and vulnerable patients. Backed by strong research, dogs show over 90% accuracy in identifying UTI-related bacteria. Following a successful pilot, the program will expand, aiming to support NHS efforts and improve wellbeing through community-based detection and assistance services.
