Medical Detection Dogs Live

Medical Detection Dogs Live – Meet the dogs saving lives!

A demonstration by Medical Detection Dogs

Medical Detection Dogs save lives using their amazing sense of smell – their noses know the odour of disease and are faster, more accurate and less intrusive than any other bio sensors on the planet.

Medical Detection Dogs is thrilled to be launching our first-ever Medical Detection Dogs Live events.

Building upon the success of our Super Sniffers Live, this event takes our mission on the road, to members of the public keen to learn more about our work and witness some of our amazing dogs in action.

Join us for an extraordinary event celebrating the remarkable work of Medical Detection Dogs as we enter our 16th year of charitable service in our mission to save and enhance lives using the incredible power of the dog’s nose.

Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to detect the odour of human diseases, leading to faster, more efficient, and less invasive diagnostic techniques. Additionally, we provide specialised Medical Alert Assistance dogs to individuals with life-threatening conditions, including POTS, Addison’s disease, and severe allergies, who have no awareness of an oncoming medical episode.

Whether you’ve been to a Medical Detection Dogs talk before or are hearing about us for the first time, this event is for you! Learn about the amazing work of Medical Detection Dogs and see our bio-detection dogs in action as they demonstrate their ability to sniff out diseases like cancer, Parkinson’s, and pseudomonas. You’ll also have the chance to hear directly from one of our clients* about the impact of having a medical alert assistance dog.

*Please be aware that due to the nature of the conditions our clients live with they may need to attend via zoom, and there is a small chance they will need to cancel at the last minute*

Select the date of your closest event below to book. We kindly ask for a minimum donation of £10 to help us continue and grow our life-saving work.

Capacity is limited to 100 tickets but please do not worry if dates ‘sell out’, we will be releasing more dates and locations as the year goes on!

Tuesday, 4th June 2024, 11:00 at BAWA Healthcare & Leisure, 589 Southmead Rd, Bristol, BS34 7RG
