Corporate support

Corporate support

There are many ways for you, as a local business, to support Medical Detection Dogs whilst helping to achieve your corporate social responsibility aims.

Here are just a few: –

Take part in the £50 challenge
Do you have what it takes to take on the Medical Detection Dogs £50 challenge? We are looking for businesses to take part in our BIG fundraising challenge. If you have competitive and creative people in your workplace, our annual fundraiser is the ideal way to test their talents and perfect those team building skills. All you have to do is enter a team of 2 or more people. Invest £50 and turn it into as much as you can in 50 days.

Make a Donation
Make a corporate contribution to the work of Medical Detection Dogs and your donation will help us to continue our ground-breaking charitable work. Donations are deductible from the total profits of your business when calculating corporation tax.

Sponsorship
Get your Company name out there by sponsoring one of our well – established fundraising events such as a Dogs Day Out. We offer exciting event sponsorship opportunities to help you raise your profile in the local community.

Employee Fundraising
Companies encouraging their staff to fundraise for a local charity often experience improved team spirit and enhanced staff morale. And you can go that extra mile by matching funds raised from their efforts!

Organise your own Company event
This might be a ball, challenge, sports or dress down day or persuade your colleagues to join up with a company team to have a great time with us at one of our fundraising events, like the Swanbourne Endeavor or why not bring the whole team and their families to a Dogs Day Out.

Charity of the Year
Nominate us as your Charity of the Year and raise funds for Medical Detection Dogs. We have plenty of great fundraising ideas (link to Fundraising Materials Page) and are willing and able to support your efforts.

Payroll Giving
Regular income from payroll giving (also known as Give as You Earn or workplace giving) provides Medical Detection Dogs with a valuable, long term source of revenue. Employees can choose to support Medical Detection Dogs with a regular donation direct from their pay. It’s tax – efficient – for example, a donation of £5 per month costs a basic rate tax payer £4.00 (the taxman pays the rest!)

Volunteering
Develop your professional skills and have a team building day whilst supporting a good cause.  There are lots of volunteering opportunities for individuals and teams at Medical Detection Dogs including fundraising, event support, and gardening.

Advertise

Donating products, discounted services or professional advice is an easy and valuable way for your company to help. Gifts in Kind can help Medical Detection Dogs save valuable resources and enable us to fundraise even more effectively, meaning that even more money can be spent on our vital work.

Recycling
Recycle your empty inkjet cartridges to help protect the environment and raise money for Medical Detection Dogs.  If you have any foreign, obsolete, and out-of-circulation currency whilst it may be of little value to you it can make a big difference to us. Have a look at our Recycling Page for more ways that you can support Medical Detection Dogs and turn your trash into cash!

Request a Speaker
Want to inspire your employees? Medical Detection Dogs can provide you with an interesting and informative talk featuring video footage of our amazing dogs in action.

If you would like one of our representatives to come out and speak to your group, please fill in the following form and we will do our best to help.

Finally, if you or a family member work for a local company, could you provide an introduction for us to ask the company for charitable support? Or if you do some fundraising for us, maybe your employer will match fund what you raise if you ask!

For more information on any of the opportunities above, please contact the Fundraising Team on 01296 655888 or email fundraising@medicaldetectiondogs.org.uk
